The amount of things you can do with the U350 is limited to which processor you decide to go with, the one in our configuration was lacking to say the least. Other than the processor the Lenovo Ideapad was a rather easy thin-and-light laptop to enjoy. It features great styling and design, it features a great textured lid that looks and feels really good.

When you're looking at a thin-and-light you need one that comes with a good battery and can deliver you the productivity you desire. The Ideapad U350 paired with a 8-cell battery is great at that but the lower end models that come with a 4-cell don't give you the long lasting performance you need. All in all with the Lenovo Ideapad you'll need to really pay attention to the configuration to get the best value for your money.

To get a good configuration for the U350 you'll need to spend $749.00.

Pros:

·Excellent build quality

·Design looks and feels good

·Pre-wired for WWAN

Cons:

·Slow SU2700 processor

·Touchpad buttons require deep press
About the Author:

Check out my blog on Laptop news here at http://laptop-updates.blogspot.com/ and also check out my Laptop reviews at my website http://laptop-computer-planet.com/

Fun Decorating Projects That Kids Can Do

Children are naturally creative, and if you encourage that part of them they may surprise you with some really great designs. One of the easiest ways for you to encourage your child's creative juices is to let them decorate their bedroom. Even if it looks somewhat questionable to you, letting them create their own space will further feed their creative spirit. Of course, depending on their age, they may need a little help getting the job done.
Fun Kids Decor Project #1: Fun with Finger Painting
Finger painting is a fun activity for all ages. This activity can be enjoyed by the tiniest of children right up to teens. While you can always have them simply do a finger painting picture and hang it in their room, you can also take finger painting and apply it to the furnishings. For example, you can make finger painted curtain toppers for their windows. Make sure that you have plenty of space to work in and cover the work area with a cloth for easy cleanup. Buy or make some curtain toppers in a pale color and lay them on your work surface. Put out pans with finger paint in them. Let small children dip their hands in the paint and stamp handprints across the curtain topper in different colors. When the masterpiece is complete, let the curtain dry and then iron to set the paint so that the curtain is washable. Another idea is to make a finger paint border for your child's room. Add a white paint chair rail around the room, and let the child "hand" stamp the walls.
Fun Kids Decor Project #2: Decorate with Decoupage
Another great project that can be enjoyed by young and old alike is decoupage. This project covers an old chair with decoupage. First have the child cut favorite magazine pictures of photos. You can even make color copies of some of their favorite storybooks or cartoon characters. Once they have their cutouts, let the child decide how to arrange them on the furniture. Then affix the pictures to the chair with the decoupage glue. First coat the underside of the picture, and then stick it to the chair. Next paint a layer of decoupage glue over the top of the picture to seal it. Let the project dry and then coat two more times allowing the chair to completely dry in between each application.
Fun Kids Decor Project #3: Buy a Kit
Children that are a little more grown up may be able to do projects on their own. Look for kits to get them started. A paint by numbers mural or latch hook rug kit are both great projects for decorating a room. The rug kits are really easy for kids to make, and the resulting rub is fun and colorful. You can buy pre-designed carpet canvas, or you can decorate your own depending on your child's interest in the project. Wall murals are not that difficult to do, and they give a huge impact to the room. The wall mural is fun, because as your child outgrows it, they can simply paint a new one; so it is actually an ongoing project.

How to Choose the Right Fridge Freezer | ArticlesBase.com

Fridge freezers are a must for any home since they offer functionality with style. With a fridge freezer there is no need to have a separate refrigerator and a separate freezer. There are several manufacturers that offer these appliances, some of them with high-tech features. However, making the right choice is important since they are not inexpensive. Selecting the right appliance will ensure that you have the right thing to suit all your requirements.

Guide

Choosing the right type of fridge freezer might be confusing for those who have never owned one before since there are so many different varieties available. The tips given below will help you make the right choice:

* Start with the basics firsts and look closely at the dimensions and the measurements of the appliance to begin with. Ensure that it will fit into the area where it has to be placed in the kitchen. Also consider all the doorways and angles through which the appliance will have to be brought into the house since it might be difficult to get in extremely large appliances if the doors are too narrow.
* Once you know what size of fridge freezer you are looking for you can then think about the style that you are looking for. There are many different types of fridge freezers like the American style, double door style and many others. Check the capacity of the appliance and ensure that it will be large enough for you to be able to comfortably store everything in it. It is always better to go for a little larger appliance than the one which you are currently using. Check the colors and ensure that you pick one which matches the current color scheme of the kitchen. There are also different finishes available like a stainless steel version which blends in nicely with a contemporary kitchen. The style of the appliance should not stand out or come across as odd in the kitchen since a fridge freezer is not just practical but it is also adds a touch of beauty to the kitchen when chosen correctly.
* Next, look for all the different features available in the different versions. It is best to go for a frost free or an automatic defroster version since defrosting manually can be quite difficult. Also, frost free will be more energy efficient and will help you save on a lot of electricity cost. There are many other features available too and the more features that you go for, the more the cost of the appliance would be. It is best not to choose one which has plenty of features which would not be regularly used by you since it would only cost more without being very helpful.

Choosing the right fridge freezer might be a little time consuming but it is worth the effort.
About the Author:

To know more about Fridge Freezer and how to select the right one for your kitchen, please visit http://www.fridgefreezerdirect.com.
